So it seems I've been a victim of rant spam...

I'm reminded of the fact that the majority of the dA community seems to be very young, as in, teenage years or younger. So after trying to help with a case of art theft, it seems the person concerned left a couple of immature, angst-ridden rants on my profile and done a rage-quit from dA to boot. No chance to sort things out in a mature manner, no way to explain why things were done the way they were. Very frustrating and ultimately not very constructive at all.

Moral of the story? Just don't steal art. Not only is it a foolish thing to do, it hurts yourself and everyone around you. Being mature enough to face the consequences of your actions is a bonus.
